Vajeh studied at the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Vancouver where she completed a 5 year doctorate program. Her interest in complimentary medicine began with her own personal experience with chronic health conditions and fatigue, which were not satisfactorily addressed. This led her to become curious about health and well-being. She was drawn to holistic approach to heal the mind and the body as one entity, and to treat the cause of the disease rather than the symptoms.
Vajeh has a background in biochemistry and microbiology, giving her a vast knowledge across both Western and Eastern interpretations of the body and health. She takes the best of both worlds to offer an individualized treatment for her patients. Vajeh has a family wellness focused practice, she treats both paediatric and adult patients. Her great passion is to treat the family as a whole, because by helping to heal one family results in a chain events which ultimately positively impacts our community.
Vajeh believes health education and lifestyle choices are as important as what happens in the treatment room. Accordingly, the best results come from everyone involved working together as a team.
Acupuncture is wonderful for all ages and stages of life, from newborns to elderly. Needle-less Acupuncture for kids is becoming more and more popular, parents are turning to paediatric acupuncture because it is a safe, natural and effective approach to healthcare. Traditional Chinese medicine focuses on treating the symptoms as well as, the root cause, for a safe resolution of illness and preventing illness in the future. In my practice I treat children using Needle-less Acupuncture techniques, so treatments are easy and virtually painless. Looking forward to meeting you and your little one.
